AEI, APEI, and AMII Synergy: Hosting a Strategic Dialogue Forum to Enhance Transparency and Investor Trust in the Capital Market

Three Indonesian Capital Market Associations Host Strategic Dialogue Forum to Strengthen Transparency and Investor Trust

JAKARTA, June 25, 2026 – The Indonesian Issuers Association (AEI), in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Securities Companies (APEI) and the Indonesian Fund Managers Association (AMII), successfully organized a joint dialogue forum themed "Restoring Trust, Rebuilding Growth: Strengthening Indonesia's Capital Market". Held at the Main Hall of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), this forum serves as a tangible manifestation of synergy among associations to formulate strategic measures aimed at strengthening the stability, transparency, and growth of the Indonesian capital market amid global and domestic economic challenges.

The forum marked a crucial momentum for stakeholders to align their perspectives on the economic outlook ahead of the second semester of 2026. Through cross-industry collaboration, market players reaffirmed that adaptive regulations, enhanced transparency, and compliance education for issuers are the ultimate foundations for maintaining investor confidence and boosting the competitiveness of the national capital market.

The event was structured into two main discussion sessions, moderated by Gilman Pradana Nugraha.

Session I: Economic Outlook 2026 The first session featured Sufianti, CFA (Equity Strategist at Bloomberg Intelligence) and Dian Ayu Yustina (Senior Economist/Head of Macroeconomic and Financial Market Research Office of Chief Economist at PT Bank Mandiri Tbk.). The discussion comprehensively analyzed global and domestic economic developments, various potential risks affecting the market, and asset allocation strategies relevant to both corporations and financial institutions.

Session II: Restoring Trust & Capital Market Resiliency Through Higher Free Float and Transparency The second session presented Teuku Fahmi Ariandar (Head of Listed Company Regulations and Services Division at PT Bursa Efek Indonesia), Genta Wira Anjalu (Chief Investment Officer at PT Sinarmas Asset Management and Vice Chairman of AMII), and Michael Wilson Setjoadi (Director of Institutional Equity at PT RHB Sekuritas Indonesia). The speakers discussed the importance of increasing the public shareholding ratio (free float), strengthening information disclosure, and implementing policies capable of enhancing market liquidity and resilience against external shocks.

The discussion also emphasized that improved transparency will support fairer corporate valuations, enhance the efficiency of market price discovery, and provide a more robust foundation for securities companies and fund managers to manage portfolios prudently.

Through this collaborative forum, AEI, APEI, and AMII reaffirmed their joint commitment to supporting the development of an Indonesian capital market that is more inclusive, liquid, transparent, and highly competitive. This synergy among industry players is expected to bolster investor confidence while supporting the implementation of the Indonesian capital market master plan toward sustainable growth.
