The Association of Indonesian Issuers & the Directorate General of Taxes Successfully Holds a Webinar

Jakarta, 22 January 2025 – The Association of Indonesian Issuers (AEI) in collaboration with the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) of the Republic of Indonesia is proud to hold a webinar entitled "Introduction and Understanding of the Implementation of PMK 131 of 2024". This event was held online via Zoom and was successfully attended by 211 participants who are members of the Indonesian Issuers Association.

This event was opened by the Executive Director of AEI, Gilman P Nugraha, who in his speech emphasized the importance of an in-depth understanding of the latest tax policies to support transparency and compliance among issuers. Gilman also expressed his appreciation to the Directorate General of Taxes for their close cooperation in supporting tax education in Indonesia.

This webinar presents experienced speakers from the Directorate General of Taxes, namely:

Eko Ariyanto – Intermediate Expert Tax Instructor
Bima Pradana – Young Expert Tax Instructor
Giyarso – Young Expert Tax Instructor
Muhammad Iqbal – First Expert Tax Instructor

This discussion aims to provide a deeper understanding regarding the implementation of Minister of Finance Regulation Number 131 of 2024, which focuses on increasing tax compliance and optimizing tax management in Indonesia.

During the webinar, speakers discussed various important aspects of PMK 131, including implications for issuers and strategic steps to deal with regulatory changes. Participants, the majority of whom came from issuer companies, showed high enthusiasm by asking various questions related to the implementation of the policy.
