Jakarta, September 24, 2025– The Indonesian Issuers Association (AEI) in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Business, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia (UNIKA) and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) heldKick-Off Magang Sustainability Reporting (SR) 2025This event marked the start of UNIKA Atma Jaya's student internship program at companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, focusing on sustainability reporting practices that align with global standards.
The Kick-Off, which was held in a hybrid manner at the KW Building, 7th Floor, Atma Jaya University, was opened byDr. Irenius D. Bimo, Dean of FEB UAJ. The activity also featured presentations fromDewi Tio(GRI) which discusses the role of sustainability reporting standards in increasing transparency, as well asGilman Pradana Nugraha(AEI Executive Director) who emphasized the importance of collaboration between issuers, regulators, and academics in strengthening ESG-based governance.
In addition, on the same occasion it was carried outsigning of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between AEI and UNIKA Atma JayaThis MoU aims to strengthen sustainable collaboration between academia and industry, particularly in education, research, and student capacity development in sustainability and capital markets. This collaboration is expected to produce a competent young generation ready to contribute to sustainability practices and capable of supporting implementation.sustainability reportingin public companies.
With the holding of the SR 2025 Internship Kick-Off and the signing of this MoU, AEI, UNIKA Atma Jaya, and GRI affirm their commitment to continue promoting sustainability literacy, strengthening the role of students as agents of change, and supporting Indonesia's efforts in implementing more transparent, accountable, and sustainable governance practices in the capital market.
