AEI Supports Strengthening Global Investment Literacy at Sharia Investment Week 2026
JAKARTA, May 21, 2026 – Asosiasi Emiten Indonesia (AEI) supports the implementation of Sharia Investment Week 2026 as part of a collective commitment to strengthening literacy and inclusion in Indonesia’s sharia capital market. As part of the event series, AEI participated in a seminar titled “Global Market Trend: Navigating Investment Radar Amid Global Economic Power Shifts,” held at the Mainhall of the Bursa Efek Indonesia on Thursday (21/5).
The event served as a strategic forum for capital market participants, academics, and investors to better understand evolving global economic dynamics and their impact on investment directions amid shifting global economic powers.
During the seminar, Gilman Pradana represented AEI as a speaker alongside Dimas Yusuf and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Eskandar Shah, with Sara Wayne serving as moderator. The panel discussion explored various topics related to global market trends, adaptive investment strategies, and opportunities to strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesia’s sharia capital market on the international stage.
Through this discussion session, participants gained insights into global economic developments, changes in the international investment landscape, and the importance of investor and market participant readiness in responding to increasingly complex economic dynamics. The forum also highlighted the significant potential of Indonesia’s sharia capital market to continue growing in an inclusive and sustainable manner.
AEI’s participation in Sharia Investment Week 2026 reflects its support for enhancing public understanding of adaptive, long-term investment strategies aligned with sustainability principles in the global economic era.
Sharia Investment Week 2026 is an annual event organized by the Bursa Efek Indonesia together with Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (KPEI) and Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI), and supported by the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). This year, SIW carries the theme “15 Years Rising – Heading Worldwide” as a reflection of the continued growth and global readiness of Indonesia’s sharia capital market.
Through collaboration among capital market stakeholders in SIW 2026, AEI hopes that stronger education, literacy, and industry synergy will continue to encourage the growth of an inclusive, competitive, and sustainable sharia capital market in Indonesia.
