AEI Holds “Listed Companies Goes to Campus” at the University of Indonesia in Celebration of Its 36th Anniversary

Jakarta, February 11, 2026 — As part of its 36th Anniversary celebration series, the Indonesian Public Listed Companies Association (AEI) organized the “Listed Companies Goes to Campus” program at the University of Indonesia (UI), Salemba Campus, Central Jakarta.

This initiative reflects AEI’s strategic commitment to strengthening capital market literacy among university students and young generations, while introducing the role and characteristics of public listed companies in Indonesia. The inaugural event was conducted in collaboration with the University of Indonesia through the Center for Strategic and Global Studies – Global Sustainability and Sustainable Development (CSGS GSSD UI).

The capital market plays a crucial role in supporting national economic growth and serves as a long-term funding source for businesses. Therefore, understanding the role of listed companies as key market participants is essential, particularly for students as future professionals, investors, and stakeholders.

The event was opened by Gilman Pradana Nugraha, Executive Director of AEI, who reaffirmed AEI’s commitment to expanding capital market education within academic institutions. Remarks from the University of Indonesia were delivered by Ir. Maureen Pomsar Lumban Toruan, M.M., Vice Director for Finance, Resources, and Cooperation, representing Prof. Dr. Drs. Supriatna, M.T.

The main session featured a seminar and sharing session with Adrianto P. Adhi, President Director of PT Summarecon Agung Tbk, who shared strategic insights on the dynamics of public listed companies, corporate governance practices, as well as challenges and opportunities in managing corporations within Indonesia’s capital market. The session was moderated by Joko Adianto, S.T., M.Ars., Ph.D., Assistant Professor at the University of Indonesia, followed by an interactive discussion.

The event also included a presentation on the ESG Competence Center, highlighting efforts to strengthen capacity and understanding of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices within the capital market ecosystem, delivered by representatives of BATS and the University of Indonesia.

Through this program, AEI aims to enhance students’ understanding of listed companies, encourage youth participation in the capital market ecosystem, and reinforce AEI’s role as a strategic partner in advancing capital market education in Indonesia.

AEI believes that strong synergy between academia and capital market industry players will foster a more inclusive, sustainable, and competitive ecosystem, while preparing the younger generation to contribute to national economic development.
