AEI, BEI, and BATS Consulting Hold Webinar "IDX Green Equity Designation Initiative" Encouraging Issuers Towards Sustainable Investment

Jakarta, October 3, 2025– The Indonesian Issuers Association (AEI) collaborates withIndonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) And BATS Consultingto organizewebinar “IDX Green Equity Designation Initiative”, a forum that discusses strategies, opportunities and challenges for issuers in supporting developmentsustainable investmentin the Indonesian capital market.

This event was opened byGilman P. Nugraha, Executive Director of AEI, who in his remarks emphasized the importance of collaboration between regulators, business actors, and professional consultants in strengthening the implementation of the principlesEnvironmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)in the capital markets sector. Gilman also emphasized that initiatives such as Green Equity Designation would be a strategic step for issuers to increase investor confidence and strengthen global competitiveness.

This webinar features two main speakers.Brian Pramudita, CEO BATS Consulting, discussing Green Equity implementation strategies, including the challenges companies face in the transition to sustainable business practices.Ignatius Denny Wicaksono, Head of Business Development Division Indonesia stock exchange, explained the IDX's initiative in introducing Green Equity Designation and the exchange's role in supporting companies to gain recognition for their sustainability commitments.

The event was attended by AEI members and capital market players enthusiastically exploring the concept of Green Equity as a catalyst for green economic growth. Interactive discussions between speakers and participants provided a deep understanding of the long-term benefits of implementing sustainable policies—both in maintaining business resilience, increasing company value, and attracting global investors.
