AEI and SGListCos Sign MoU to Strengthen Financial Education and Literacy

Singapore, 28 February 2025 – Association of Indonesian Issuers (AEI) And Association of Singapore Listed Companies (SGListCos) officially signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as a strategic step in increasing education, workshops, seminars and financial literacy initiatives for issuers in both countries.

This event took place at Oriental Mandarin, Singapore, and attended by AEI General Chair, Armand Wahyudi Hartono, as well as AEI Executive Director, Gilman Pradana Nugraha. Meanwhile, SGListCos was present Chew Sutat as Pro-temp Chairman, Wayne Ho as Program Manager, as well as Peggy Chin, Senior Manager dari Singapore Exchange (SGX).

Strategic Cooperation Focus

This MoU marks the beginning of a series of strategic programs that will be implemented by AEI and SGListCos, including:

Training for Issuers → Increase the company's understanding of capital market regulations and best practices.
Seminars and Workshops → Present expert speakers to discuss industry trends and financial innovation.
Financial Literacy Initiative → Strengthen public and investor understanding regarding responsible investment.

With this collaboration, it is hoped that the relationship between the Indonesian and Singapore capital market industries will become closer and provide benefits for further growth of the financial ecosystem transparent, professional and competitive.

Armand Wahyudi Hartono, General Chair of AEI, said that this collaboration was an important step in encouraging professionalism in the capital markets industry.
