May 9, 2026 — Asosiasi Emiten Indonesia reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the capacity and competitiveness of public listed companies through its active participation in the national webinar titled “Corporate Legal Strategy in Primary and Secondary Markets: Maintaining Competitiveness Amid Geopolitical Pressures.” The event was organized in collaboration with Gress Gustia and Partners and President University and conducted virtually via Zoom on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
During the event, AEI Executive Director Gilman Pradana Nugraha served as a speaker, delivering strategic insights on business and capital market challenges amid increasingly complex global geopolitical dynamics.
Gilman emphasized that public companies today are required not only to maintain strong business performance, but also to develop adaptive and responsive corporate legal readiness in facing regulatory changes, global economic uncertainty, and developments in both primary and secondary markets.
“Issuer resilience in today’s dynamic geopolitical environment requires legal strategies that are integrated with corporate governance, risk mitigation, and investor confidence strengthening,” Gilman stated during his presentation.
The webinar also featured other speakers, including Dr. Gress Gustia Pah and Bunga Dita Cesaria, who discussed various aspects of corporate law, legal protection in capital market activities, and corporate sustainability strategies amid global pressures.
AEI’s participation in this event reflects the association’s ongoing efforts to enhance capital market literacy, promote good corporate governance (GCG), and strengthen issuers’ preparedness in facing national and international economic challenges.
AEI hopes that discussion forums like this can continue to serve as collaborative platforms for academics, legal practitioners, regulators, and capital market stakeholders in fostering a healthy, competitive, and sustainable investment ecosystem in Indonesia.
