Jakarta, 27 February 2025 – The Indonesian Issuers Association (AEI) together with the Indonesian Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) have successfully held a webinar entitled "Implementation of PMK 136 of 2024: Concerning the Imposition of a Global Minimum Tax Based on International Agreements." This event took place online via Zoom on Thursday, February 27 2025, 09.00 – 12.00 WIB and was attended by 120 participants from various industrial sectors.
This webinar aims to provide a more comprehensive understanding of Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) 136 of 2024, which regulates the application of global minimum taxes in accordance with international agreements. This policy has a significant impact on companies that have cross-border business activities, so a deep understanding is needed for business actors and stakeholders.
This event was opened by Gilman P. Nugraha, Executive Director of AEI, who emphasized the importance of collaboration between the business world and tax authorities in understanding and implementing global tax policies.
