Jakarta, 29 April 2025 — The Association of Indonesian Issuers (AEI) today held a discussion with the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU) regarding the development of the Indonesian capital market. The discussion took place at the KPPU Head Office in the context of the KPPU Hearing Forum, a strategic initiative of the KPPU to build effective communication with business actors.
AEI expressed its appreciation for holding the KPPU Hearing Forum which was considered an important step in providing space for the business world to express views, input and aspirations. It is hoped that this forum can support the creation of healthy and fair business competition in Indonesia.
"AEI hopes that the KPPU Hearing Forum can continue as part of efforts to strengthen transparency, increase legal certainty, and create a conducive business climate," said Armand W Hartono, General Chair of AEI. AEI also emphasized its commitment to support positive synergy between KPPU and business actors to encourage inclusive and sustainable national economic growth.
