Indonesian Issuers Association Legal and Taxation Clinic: Superior Services for Members

Legal and tax clinics are one of the superior services provided by the Indonesian Issuers Association (AEI) for all its members. This clinic was formed at the end of December, but was only launched at the beginning of March this year. The formation of this clinic took quite a long time because the AEI management wanted to provide the best to its members.

This legal and tax clinic is staffed by professionals who work in their respective fields. For example, there are members from PB TN and BATS, a tax consulting company whose members are also the chairs of ACEXI, namely the Carbon Association. Apart from that, AEI also collaborates with Yusuf Indradewa and Partner, which operates in the world of capital markets and investment. We also have fellow AEI administrators who have established legal consultancies in the capital markets and other fields. The competence of each member is expected to help answer all AEI members' questions in the legal and tax clinic.

Legal and Tax Services Offered

This clinic can be used to ask questions regarding various aspects of law and taxation, including capital market law, employment, arbitration, investment, restructuring, and others related to activities in companies related to the capital market. Taxation is also included, especially regarding carbon taxes. One of our partners is a pioneer in carbon taxes, so members who have questions about carbon emissions and other things can ask at our clinic.

We also provide services to answer questions about arbitration. The benefits are numerous because this is a special facility for AEI members. Members can gain many benefits, including the opportunity for two-way discussions. If there is a problem, members can ask in more depth.

Other associations may not provide these benefits, so we thank the boards that provide the best service to their members. This is in line with the objectives of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) to increase member literacy and improve the quality of all issuers listed on the Exchange.

How to Access Clinic Services

AEI members can join the AEI WhatsApp group and submit questions from 9 to 10 am by filling in the Google Form that has been prepared by the secretariat team. These questions will be distributed to the clinic team and will be answered on the same day or an appointment will be made to discuss. Questions will be answered verbally via WhatsApp call or Zoom.
