IAI and AEI Hold Socialization of Sustainability Disclosure Standard Exposure Draft

Jakarta, April 21, 2025 — The Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) through the Sustainability Standards Board in collaboration with the Indonesian Issuers Association (AEI) has successfully held an online webinar on the Socialization of the Sustainability Disclosure Standards (SPK) Exposure Draft on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 14.00–15.30 WIB.

This activity is part of the process of preparing and socializing the Sustainability Disclosure Standards (SPK) by the IAI Sustainability Standards Board which refers to the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards issued by the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). On December 17, 2024, the Board has approved two exposure drafts, namely:

SPK Statement 1: General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-Related Financial Information

SPK Statement 2: Other Sustainability-Related Disclosures

The webinar was opened by moderator Yakub, followed by remarks from Mr. Gilman Pradana Nugraha (Executive Director of AEI) and Mrs. Elly Zarni Husin (Executive Director of IAI).

The main session was filled by Mrs. Rizkiasari Yudawinata (Mrs. Kiki), as a Member of the IAI Sustainability Standards Board, who explained the background, scope, and important points of the two SPK exposure drafts. This socialization was also accompanied by an interactive question and answer session with the participants, who are members of IAI and AEI.

Through this activity, IAI and AEI hope to increase understanding and encourage active involvement of stakeholders in supporting the implementation of sustainability disclosure standards in the Indonesian corporate environment, which is in line with global practices.
