Jakarta, November 7, 2025— The Indonesian Issuers Association (AEI) together with PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (PEFINDO) successfully held a Panel Discussion entitled"Ratings, Reputation, and Issuer Competitiveness in the Era of Sustainable Capital Markets", held in the Main Hall of the Indonesia Stock Exchange Building in Jakarta. This event served as a strategic forum for capital market players, issuers, and investors to deepen their understanding of the critical role of corporate ratings and reputation in strengthening competitiveness in the era of transformation toward a sustainable capital market.
The event opened with an honorary welcome fromSaptono Adi Junarso, Advisor for Company Valuation of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, followed by the official opening byAdrianto P. Adhi, Deputy Chairman of AEI, and remarks fromIrmawati Amran, President Director of PEFINDO. In his remarks, Adrianto emphasized that the rating is not just a number, but reflects a company's governance, reputation, and commitment to sustainable business practices, which are the foundation of investor trust.
The panel discussion featured speakers from various backgrounds, namelyMartin Johannes Haholongan Pandiangan, Head of Non-Financial Services Rating Division 1 PEFINDO;Alvaro Ihsan, Fund Manager FI & MM PT Sucorinvest Asset Management; dan Johanes W. Edward, Chief Strategy Officer of PT Steel Pipe Industry of Indonesia Tbk (SPINDO). This dynamic discussion addressed strategies for increasing competitiveness through reputation building, transparency, and the implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.
