AEI and KSEI Hold Instagram Live "IPO Hype: Are You Ready to Invest?"

Jakarta, 20 September 2024 – The Indonesian Issuers Association (AEI) together with the Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI) have successfully held an Instagram live event entitled "IPO Hype: Are You Ready to Invest?" This event aims to provide education to the public, especially novice investors, regarding the opportunities and risks associated with investing in shares that have just undergone an Initial Public Offering (IPO).

Apart from that, this event is also part of the "Sahamers Night" program, which is a joint initiative of AEI and KSEI to bring together investors with experts in the capital markets sector, discuss investment strategies, and provide insights regarding the latest trends and opportunities in the world of shares.

In this interactive session, experts in the capital markets sector shared in-depth insights about the IPO concept, which is increasingly popular among investors. The discussion includes steps that need to be prepared before buying shares in a company that has just gone public.

"This event is part of AEI and KSEI's efforts to increase public financial literacy and encourage greater participation in the Indonesian capital market. "With more and more companies conducting IPOs, it is important for potential investors to understand the benefits and risks," said Hartati Handayani, Head of KSEI's Transaction Settlement & Administration Services Division.

In this event, Hartati Handayani explained the regulations and procedures in the IPO process, while Ajib Hamdani, representing AEI, discussed the role of issuers and the importance of understanding investment-related information. The event moderator, Dayitna Ayuningtyas, Head of the KSEI Inspection Unit, successfully guided the discussion with dynamic interaction between resource persons and participants.

This event was attended by 1,158 spectators, showing the public's enthusiasm for the themes discussed. With this initiative, AEI and KSEI hope that the public can be better prepared to face various investment opportunities, especially in taking advantage of the IPO momentum.
