KSEI Updates Cooperation with 23 Bank Administrators RDN and Payment Banks for 2024-2029

AEINEWS - PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) has renewed its cooperation with Bank Administrators of Customer Funds (Bank Administrators RDN) and Payment Banks. The signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) took place at the Main Hall of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, with KSEI President Director Samsul Hidayat and the leaders of the related banks present, along with the Head of the Capital Market, Derivatives, and Carbon Exchange Supervision at the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Inarno Djajadi, as well as officials from Self-Regulatory Organizations and the media.

The agreement is effective for the 2024-2029 period and increases the number of Bank Administrators RDN and Payment Banks to 23. Of these, 15 are existing banks and 8 are new banks. During this period, all Bank Administrators RDN will also serve as KSEI Payment Banks, assisting with securities transaction settlement and providing intraday facilities for Securities Companies.

This cooperation is expected to benefit the banks by enhancing branding, increasing new customers, improving customer penetration in the capital market, and boosting the number of savings accounts. The support from these 23 banks is anticipated to strengthen the Indonesian capital market.
