Jakarta - The Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) has officially listed the initial shares of three companies through the Initial Public Offering (IPO) process on Monday (13/01), further strengthening their presence in the Indonesian capital market.
The three companies currently listed on the stock exchange are PT Bangun Kosambi Sukses Tbk (CBDK), PT Brigit Biofarmaka Teknologi Tbk (OBAT), and PT Delta Giri Wacana Tbk (DGWG).
"With this listing, the total number of companies registered on the BEI has now reached 951. With growth opportunities, the responsibility to create added value is also greater," said BEI Company Valuation Director, I Gede Nyoman Yetna, at the BEI Main Hall, Jakarta.
Nyoman emphasized three main principles that must be adhered to by registered companies. First, Earning Investor Trust, which means building investor trust through the use of IPO funds that are transparent and in accordance with the prospectus. "Make sure the IPO funds are used for company development in order to achieve optimal operational and market performance," he said.
Second, Driving Growth for All, which focuses on real contributions to the national economy, improving community welfare, and supporting the existence of companies in Indonesia.
Third, Leading with Integrity, which emphasizes the importance of transparent, accountable and ethical company management. "Manage the company well, transparently and responsibly from the first day it was listed on the stock exchange," added Nyoman.
Apart from that, Nyoman also highlighted the importance of environmental preservation to ensure business sustainability in the future.
In this IPO, PT Bangun Kosambi Sukses Tbk (CBDK) issued 566.89 million shares or 10 percent of the total capital at a price of IDR 4,060 per share, thereby successfully raising funds of IDR 2.3 trillion.
PT Brigit Biofarmaka Teknologi Tbk (OBAT) is offering 170 million shares or 28.33 percent of total capital at a price of IDR 350 per share, which results in funds of IDR 59.5 billion.
Meanwhile, PT Delta Giri Wacana Tbk (DGWG) released 882.35 million shares or 15 percent of total capital at a price of IDR 230 per share, raising fresh funds of IDR 202.94 billion.
