JAKARTA, July 22, 2026 – The Indonesian Listed Companies Association (AEI) reaffirmed its commitment to advancing sustainable business practices by participating as a panelist at Lestari Summit 2026. Held under the theme "The Regenerative Pulse: Agile Ideas, Resilient Systems, Disruptive Change," the summit brought together regulators, businesses, investors, academics, and sustainability practitioners to discuss key issues surrounding sustainable transformation in Indonesia.
During the panel session titled "Indonesia Sustainability Reporting Readiness: Compliance Trends, Regulatory Developments, and Corporate Transformation," Gilman Pradana Nugraha, Executive Director of the Indonesian Listed Companies Association (AEI), joined representatives from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), EY Indonesia, and PT WIKA Tirta Jatiluhur to discuss the latest developments in sustainability reporting regulations, the readiness of listed companies, and the corporate transformation needed to improve sustainability reporting practices in Indonesia.
In his presentation, Gilman emphasized that sustainability reporting has evolved beyond regulatory compliance and has become an integral part of corporate strategy. As investors and stakeholders increasingly expect stronger sustainability performance, companies are encouraged to enhance corporate governance, improve data quality, and integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into their decision-making processes.
AEI also highlighted that the successful implementation of sustainability reporting requires close collaboration among regulators, business associations, capital market supporting professionals, and listed companies. Strengthening capabilities, aligning reporting standards, and sharing best practices will enable companies to adapt more effectively to evolving regulations and market expectations.
AEI's participation in Lestari Summit 2026 reflects the association's ongoing commitment to supporting listed companies in strengthening corporate governance, enhancing competitiveness, and contributing to the development of a more sustainable and globally competitive Indonesian capital market.
Through collaborative platforms such as Lestari Summit, AEI will continue to serve as a strategic partner for listed companies in accelerating their sustainability transformation and creating long-term value for all stakeholders.
