PT Mahaka Media Tbk (ABBA) is a publishing and broadcasting company with content aimed at Indonesian Muslims. The company owns several magazines, radio stations, television channels, and a number of non-media companies. ABBA began operating in 1992 as PT Abdi Bangsa Tbk and in 1993 launched Harian Republika, the first newspaper in Indonesia aimed at the Muslim community. Since then, the company has become a multi-media holding company with more than 1,000 employees.
