PT Jakarta Setiabudi Internasional Tbk (JSPT) operates in the real estate business, founded in 1975 by Mr. Darmadi. Its commercial operations began in 1977, and conducted an IPO in 1998. The company has made a major contribution to urban development in Jakarta, by developing commercial business areas in Thamrin and Rasuna Said. Apart from that, it is also developing residential areas in Puri, Permata Hijau and resorts in Bali. Its success has led the company to establish international partnerships, including with Mandarin Oriental, Hyatt International, Accor Asia Pacific, Itochu Corporation, Shimizu, Tokyu Land Corporation, and Nomura.
