PT Goodyear Indonesia Tbk (GDYR) was founded in 1898 by Frank A. Seiberling, named in honor of Charles Goodyear who discovered the rubber vulcanization process. This company grew to become the largest tire manufacturer in the world, with 46 production plants in 21 countries around the world. Currently, its business segments are divided into consumer tires for private and passenger vehicles, as well as commercial and OTR (off the road) tires for commercial vehicles, transportation fleets and plantations, mining and agriculture.
