PT Communication Cable System Indonesia Tbk (CCSI) began operations in 1996. This company produces premium and high quality fiber optic cables and is currently the only local company producing submarine fiber optic cables in Indonesia. Apart from fiber optic cables, the company also produces electrical cables, HDPE pipes and accessories. The factory is located in the Krakatau Industrial Area, Cilegon, Banten, with an optical fiber capacity of 1.6 million kilometers per year.
